📗 This content is the Exact Match Builder user manual, the same one the script writes in the «Manual» tab of its spreadsheet. Here you can search it, listen to it, highlight it and save it to favourites.
In one sentence. It turns the search terms that have already proven they work in your account into EXACT MATCH keywords, and it does it on its own: no campaigns to set up, no thresholds, nothing to approve beforehand. You review afterwards, if you want.
Why exact match. The goal of a well-managed account is MAXIMUM control: the more searches come in through exact keywords, the more you decide (bid, ad, landing page) and the less the algorithm decides. This script measures and increases that control every day.
What it does NOT do. It does not invent keywords: it only adds terms that already get traffic through your phrase or broad keywords. It never adds negatives on its own (it suggests them). It does not touch bids or ads.
How it decides (with nothing to configure)
Level A · Converts. The term has generated at least 1 value conversion in the last 30 days (or 2 in 90). The strongest signal: it gets added.
Level B · Performs. No conversions yet, but at least 10 clicks in 30 days, a CTR equal to or better than its ad group average and a CPC equal or cheaper. The threshold is RELATIVE to your account: it calibrates itself.
What is discarded beforehand. Terms that already exist as an exact keyword in the account, negated (campaign, ad group or shared lists), removed by you in this script, or from dynamic ad groups (DSA, which carry no keywords).
Safety caps. At most 20 new keywords per campaign and 100 per account in each run. What does not make it today makes it tomorrow if it still deserves it.
Claude filter. If there is a Claude key (yours or the panel one), each batch of candidates goes through the AI with your project profile: it discards competitors, informational terms or terms that do not fit the ad group, and explains why. Without a key only the rules apply and ONE-word terms are not added (they are the riskiest).
