📗 This content is the AI Max Analyzer user manual, the same one the script writes in the «Manual» tab of its spreadsheet. Here you can search it, listen to it, highlight it and save it to favourites.
Both tabs work on the same AI Max traffic but aggregate it differently. A concrete example makes it clear:
Imagine the campaign "Shoes" with 3 ad groups: Buy / Outlet / Premium. AI Max brings the query "cheap shoes" 100 times during the month, split like this: 60 land in the Buy group, 30 in Outlet, 10 in Premium.
Tab 3 groups by search term: You would see 1 row: "cheap shoes | AI Max Broad | Shoes campaign | 100 impr | xx €". It adds up everything that came from that search.
Tab 4 splits by ad group: You would see 3 rows, one per ad group the search landed in: Buy (60), Outlet (30), Premium (10).
When Tab 3?: 90% of the time. To spot irrelevant queries and add negatives. It is the tab you will open every week.
When Tab 4?: When a query looks relevant but converts badly, and you suspect the problem is not the query but that it is landing in the wrong ad group (e.g. a cheap query landing in the Premium group with premium creative and landing page = mismatch). This is where you confirm it.
Current limitation of Tab 4: In its full form this view would also cross the headline served and the landing page AI Max chose for each query. Google Ads Scripts does not expose those sub-fields yet (they are only in REST API v21+). Until they are enabled, Tab 4 is limited to the ad group breakdown. To see headlines/landing pages today: Google Ads UI → Campaigns → Insights → "Search terms and landing pages from AI Max".
