📗 This content is the Demand Gen Ads Optimizer user manual, the same one the script writes in the «Manual» tab of its spreadsheet. Here you can search it, listen to it, highlight it and save it to favourites.
Why it exists. A new ad has no stable data. Maturity stops you pausing it too early.
Step 1 — Impressions. >= B12 accumulated impressions (second figure = maturity). Below that: status Accumulating. No rule applies.
Step 2 — Weekly CV. With A7=Yes, the CTR stability is analysed week by week. It needs A11 stable weeks out of the last A9.
Maturity without CV (A7=No). Only the B12 impressions (second figure) are required. No weekly analysis.
Early discard. If an immature ad already has >= B12 impressions but its score is far below (>= B14%), Rule 2 acts without waiting for full maturity.
Scoring
Dual score. One score is worked out on all-time data and another on the last 30 days. The final score blends both using the weights in B10.
CTR / Conv rate. Normalised against the group average. Score = 1 if you are exactly average.
CPC / CPA. Efficiency = group_minimum / your_value. Score = 1 if you hold the group minimum.
Trend last 30d. Compares the 30d score with the all-time score. Positive = recent improvement. Negative = decline. Strong red <= -20%, orange <= -10%, green >= +10%.
Ranking. Ads are listed from the best to the worst final score in Summary.
