📗 This content is the Negative Keywords Ninja (lista blanca) user manual, the same one the script writes in the «Manual» tab of its spreadsheet. Here you can search it, listen to it, highlight it and save it to favourites.

Negative Keywords Ninja automates the management of negative keywords in Google Ads. It periodically reads the search terms that got impressions in every configured campaign, compares them against a whitelist you control, and adds as negatives the terms that do NOT belong to that whitelist. The goal: your campaigns stop paying for irrelevant searches without you having to review them by hand every day.

On top of the main job of adding negatives, the script has three optional advanced features:

2. Getting started: from a blank spreadsheet to the first exclusion

You do not have to prepare anything by hand. The first time you run the script on an empty spreadsheet, it creates the tabs it needs itself: Settings (with all its cells and dropdowns), Errors, this Manual, and two example TEMPLATES in grey — 'Whitelist (example)' and 'Negatives (example)'.

From there, for every campaign you want to protect:

  1. Duplicate the two templates (right click on the tab › Duplicate) and rename them to something recognisable, for example 'WL Brand' and 'Neg Brand'.

  2. In the whitelist sheet write, in column A, the terms that must NEVER be excluded in that campaign. The settings in column B already come filled in with sensible values.

  3. In the Settings tab, in the table on the right, add a row: column D the campaign ID, column E the name of its whitelist sheet, column F the name of its negatives sheet.

  4. Set column G (Status) to ON and run the script again. While it is OFF, that campaign is ignored.

💡 You do not need to fill in the negatives sheet: it is the log where the script writes every term it excludes, and the source of the most-repeated-word metrics you will see in your whitelist sheet.

If you write in the Settings the name of a tab that does not exist yet, the script creates and formats it on its own on the next run.
