📗 This content is the Negative Keywords Ninja (lista blanca) user manual, the same one the script writes in the «Manual» tab of its spreadsheet. Here you can search it, listen to it, highlight it and save it to favourites.
The script sends an email at the end of every run if there is something to report:
New shared lists created (blue): the previous list filled up and a new one was created. You need to attach it to the right campaigns.
Errors during the run (red): some technical problem. Check the Errors tab as well.
Cleanup completed (green): a summary of what was removed.
Undo completed (purple): a summary of what was restored.
Phase 2 recommendation (purple): new candidates, updates, applied ones.
If there is only one of these, the main button of the email takes you straight to the relevant tab. If there are several, it takes you to the general settings tab.
12. Common problems
The script adds no negatives but there are terms in the report:
Check that the campaign is set to ON in the settings table.
Check that the configured period really has impressions. Very long periods can trigger Google privacy restrictions that hide terms.
If every term matches the whitelist, nothing is added — that is the expected behaviour.
The cleanup task says '0 removed' but there are obvious redundancies:
- The matching is strict. Check that the broad and the exact negatives use exactly the same words (no plurals, no variants — anything else would misrepresent how Google really evaluates negatives).
The script runs several times without finishing and the list of pending campaigns does not go down:
- STOP-GO is probably resuming correctly but the volume is very high. Check the Log tab to see how many terms each session processes.
I got a 'new list created' email but the list already existed:
- Recent versions of the script tell creating and reusing a list apart. Make sure you have the latest version loaded in Google Ads.
