📗 This is the user manual for the Suite for ChatGPT Ads, the tool in the Ninja Scripts panel. Here you can search it, listen to it, highlight it and save it to favourites. It is updated with every release of the tool.
The tool has twenty screens. So that they aren't twenty buttons in a row, they are grouped the way Google Ads does it: first what you want to do and then the pages for that job.
The six menu sections
| Section | What for | Colour |
|---|---|---|
| 🏠 Overview | How the account is doing right now | teal |
| 🏗️ Campaigns | What's built: campaigns, ad groups, ads, tests | blue |
| 📈 Reports | The numbers, with their breakdowns | purple |
| 💡 Optimise | What needs fixing | orange |
| 🧰 Tools | What changes the account | green |
| ⚙️ | Settings, conversions and this manual | grey |
The colour isn't decoration: it tells you which section you're in before you read the title. Each screen's blocks carry the header colour of their section, and the menu button fills with that colour when open. Red is reserved for what needs action.
Red badges float up. If you have a rejected ad or a critical finding, the red number shows next to the section even when it's closed, so it's visible from any screen. Open the section and the number splits across its pages.
The date range selector
Every screen with figures carries the same selector, in a box coloured after its section:
- Arrows ‹ › to move to the previous or next period. They respect the unit: a day moves a day, a calendar week jumps to the previous Monday-to-Sunday week, and a month jumps to the whole previous month (August → all of July, not «2-31 August»).
- Complete days (through yesterday): «last 7 / 14 / 30 / 90 days» and «all time» end yesterday, because today is half done.
- Today · Yesterday in their own group, plus calendar weeks and months, which do run up to today when you pick them.
- Custom, with a calendar.
Each period is automatically compared with the previous one of the same length: that's where the variations («+18 %») in the tables come from.
The charts
The chart is the same on all eight screens that have one, and works the same everywhere:
- You pick what to see. On 🏠 Overview, the seven figure cards ARE the buttons: click «Spend» and its line joins the chart. On the by-element reports (countries, ads, devices) you pick up to six elements and choose the shared metric.
- Up to two metrics at a time, each with its own axis (left and right). Mixing impressions with a CTR on a single scale leaves the second line flat on the floor.
- Picking doesn't reload the page: your browser draws it.
- Hovering shows a tooltip with the date and each line's value, in its colour.
- It can be grouped by day, week or month.
- What you picked is remembered next time you come in.
One detail that avoids misunderstandings: a ratio for the period (CTR, CPC, cost per conversion) is worked out on the totals, not by averaging the days. A month's CTR is «clicks that month ÷ impressions that month», not the mean of the daily CTRs — which, with days that have no data, gives a meaningless figure.
The feedback box: reporting a bug or asking for something
Bottom right, on every screen, there's a 💬 button to send us a suggestion or a bug. You can attach up to three screenshots or paste them straight in with Ctrl+V. The report arrives with the screen you were on, so there's no need to explain where.
The tool is in beta and keeps growing every week: that box is the fastest way for something to make the list.
This manual, from the inside
The bar on every screen carries a 📗 Manual link that takes you to the section of this manual that explains that screen, not to the index. And under ⚙️ you'll find 📗 Manual with the full index.
