📗 This is the user manual for the Suite for ChatGPT Ads, the tool in the Ninja Scripts panel. Here you can search it, listen to it, highlight it and save it to favourites. It is updated with every release of the tool.
On top of the screens, the tool emails you a report. It isn't a courtesy summary: it's the same content as the 📈 Report screen, with the actionable parts at the top.
When it arrives
| When | What |
|---|---|
| Mondays | The last complete week (Monday to Sunday) |
| The 1st | The previous calendar month |
| If they coincide | A single email with both, the monthly one first |
If an account had no activity in the period or the one before, nothing is sent. And the report waits for the day's read before going out, so it doesn't report half a period.
What's inside
- What OpenAI counts: impressions, clicks, CTR, spend, CPC, conversions and cost per conversion, with their variation; by campaign, by ad group and by ad (the 15 with the most spend).
- The best and worst ad, with their verdict badge. An ad only gets an opinion with at least 500 impressions and 20 clicks: below that, the difference between two ads is chance.
- What you measure, if you send conversions from the server: real cost per lead, per qualified lead and per sale, and return per ad.
- Traffic quality, if you have Ninja Shield: how many of each ad's visits are people.
- The latest hint change for each ad group with its effect, and the watchdog's open alerts.
How to switch it off
There's a switch per account on the 📈 Report screen itself. If you manage several accounts you get a single email covering all those your plan includes.
And the watchdog, which is something else
The report is periodic; the watchdog warns when something breaks, and only then: brand review pending or rejected, a campaign not serving and why, a rejected ad, a low bid, a campaign active and approved with no impressions for two days, accumulated spend with no conversions, or a CPC spiking to twice its median.
Two things it does well and worth knowing:
- It only reports what's confirmed across two consecutive reads. Right after the ⏰ Schedule activates a campaign, OpenAI may declare a delivery problem that clears by itself; without this rule, that would be a 3 a.m. email about a flicker. The alert does open immediately on screen: what waits is the email.
- It also reports good news: brand approved, blocker resolved.
