📗 This content is the Search Query Optimizer (SQONS) user manual, the same one the script writes in the «Manual» tab of its spreadsheet. Here you can search it, listen to it, highlight it and save it to favourites.
SQONS emails you the key facts about the account and about what the script has been doing.
📌 TYPES OF EMAIL:
🆕 LIST CREATED (immediate):
Sent whenever the script creates a new list by auto-rotation. It includes the manual instructions if they are needed. It ignores the frequency setting.
📊 WEEKLY SUMMARY (every 7 days):
• Keywords added, protected and skipped over the last week.
• Top 10 most repeated tokens.
• Lists created on this run.
📈 MONTHLY REPORT (every 30 days):
• Full stats for the past month.
• Top 20 tokens, with a "BROAD MATCH" tag on the candidates.
• Split by negatives sheet.
• Recommended words to add in broad match.
📌 SETUP:
• Switch emails on by putting your address in Config A6.
• Choose the frequency in Config A8.
Broad match negative suggestions
The "Negative Suggestions" tab is refreshed after every run to help you sharpen your negatives strategy.
📌 WHAT IT DOES:
It goes through every negative keyword SQONS has added across your sheets and counts how often each individual word (1-gram) shows up, filtering out stopwords and very short words.
📌 HOW TO READ IT:
• Token: the word analysed.
• Repeats in negatives: how many times it appears across your negatives.
• Found in sheets: which sheets it turned up in.
• Suggestion: "Broad match candidate" once it passes the threshold (5 by default).
📌 HOW TO USE IT:
The tokens marked as candidates are words that keep coming back in your negatives. Add them as BROAD MATCH negatives and you block, in one move, a lot of future terms containing that word.
